collection
Mar. 21st, 2015 04:24 pmfollowing is a list of things i love browsing through, but will never actually buy... unless i'm a gazillionaire and still have disposable income after everything else i want to do with the money:
1. eyewear - in local parlance, kakikayan. love to hide my face in decorative eyepieces - they sort of feel like masks.
2. jewelry - SHINIES.
3. candy - i've maintained a fascination with sweets since childhood. i don't always like eating them, but i like looking at them, and marveling at how they're made. EVERLASTING GOBSTOPPERS. HOW.
4. perfumes - wonders of chemistry, magical in the way they evoke sensations and memories. i especially stand in awe of the scents that make me feel aggressive and borderline angry. how does that even happen.
5. artwork. specifically, sculptures - i can't really imagine any single piece looking "perfect" for my home. i just love looking at them and enjoying the fact they aren't (yet) owned by anyone. goes for all art pieces, i suppose; i love them most when they aren't for sale.
i do spend on food, though. i like trying new dishes.
and books. still. always.
